SERVICE / Website speed & optimization

Make every visit feel easier.

Website optimization improves the experience people already have with your site. The work combines performance investigation, mobile usability, and clearer paths from a page visit to a useful action.

Measure the problem before choosing the fix

We start with representative pages and tasks: a homepage, a service page, a longer article, and an enquiry journey. Available field data and repeatable lab checks help distinguish a widespread performance issue from a one-off test result.

The assessment records the device assumptions, test conditions, and the symptoms visitors encounter. A slow first load, delayed response after a click, and a layout that jumps are different problems. A single performance score is not enough to explain all three.

Improve delivery and responsiveness

Potential changes include resizing images, selecting appropriate formats, reserving media space, removing unused scripts, delaying nonessential integrations, and reviewing caching or compression. What is feasible depends on your platform and access level.

Core Web Vitals provide a useful shared vocabulary: LCP concerns main-content loading, INP interaction responsiveness, and CLS unexpected visual movement. We connect any recommended change to an observed issue rather than treating these metrics as a reason to rebuild everything.

Make the enquiry journey easier

A fast page can still be hard to use. We review readable text, navigation labels, form instructions, mobile controls, keyboard access, and the clarity of the next step. The goal is to reduce avoidable friction while preserving the information a visitor needs.

Changes should be verified against the original task. For example, visitors should still be able to understand the service and finish a draft enquiry after scripts have been reduced. Business functionality matters alongside byte size and test scores.

Report what changed and what remains

The handover can include a baseline, implemented changes, comparison checks, and a prioritized backlog. If real-user measurement is available, improvements may need time and sufficient traffic to become visible in that data.

Performance improvements do not guarantee rankings or a particular conversion rate. A useful engagement states which pages were tested, what the measurements can show, and where a platform, third-party integration, or hosting constraint remains. Start by sharing your website and the task that feels slow or frustrating.

What your project can include

  • Performance & usability baseline
  • Image, script & delivery improvements
  • Mobile & enquiry-path review
  • Measured results & next-step roadmap

For technical teams

Core Web Vitals investigation covering LCP, INP, and CLS; asset and script review; accessible forms; responsive QA; and a prioritized remediation plan supported by before/after testing.

Is this the right fit?

Established websites with slow pages, awkward mobile layouts, or confusing enquiry journeys.

Final scope, supported platforms, access requirements, timing, and costs are confirmed in writing before work begins.
